There are numerous ways on how to save energy. You don’t have to sit down on a chair and start thinking on how to do that. It’s quite interesting that all you have to do is walk around the house at least once, and a light bulb idea will appear on top of your head.

No doubt that when you walk into a room, to save energy the first thing you think of is the light switch. That is the first step towards energy saving. Most of the day, there is absolutely no need of a light bulb. There is nothing better then rays of sunlight coming through the windows. Sometimes, sun rays in the room can reflect back from other objects, thus creating more light to your eyes then you want to. But there is a simple solution to that – redecorate those objects. For instance the TV; many households place the TV opposite a window and when a sunny day brightens the room, it reflects form the screen and instead of a TV programs you looking at the windows. To solve this problem, don’t close the blinds on the windows and light a bulb in the room just to watch TV. Place the TV somewhere else and problem solved. You don’t have to turn on the light every time there is a beautiful sunny day.

Here’s another light bulb saver. Halls that lead to the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, or in the apartment, can be your General light supplier. There is no need to turn the switch on the room every time you enter, especially just for few seconds. When you need to enter your bedroom and take the laundry, for example, there is no need for a turn-On light switch. The laundry basket is not a needle so you have to turn on the light; I’m sure it is quite big to be notices. So turn the Hall light-On and leave the bedroom door open, there will be definitely enough light to walk around the room and do more stuff then just picking up the laundry.
